Yesterday was the opening ceremony of the 60th Cannes Film Festival.
The red carpet was beeming with stars from all over the world.
Stars like Juliette Binoche, Andie MacDowell & Aishwarya Rai were spotted at the ceremony.
The lucky director to start the festival with the premier of his movie was top Hong Kong director Wong Kar-Wai.
'My Blueberry Nights' is Wong Kar-Wai latest movie & it's his first one in English.
It -as well as 22 other movies- will be competeing for the Palme d'Or.
The movie stars Jude Law & Norah Jones!

Other mega stars who are scheduled to make appearances at the red carpet this year include George Clooney, Sharon Stone, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino & Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt will be there for two important movies; 'Ocean's 13' & 'A mighty Heart'.
