I am not one to comment on anyone’s beliefs whether they be a famous Hollywood star or a regular person, but when this belief means you’re son isn’t allowed to be cured from an illness that’s where I draw the line. According to ‘friendly’ neighbors, John Travolta’s 14 year old son Jett Travolta suffers from autism but hasn’t been diagnosed and hasn’t undergone any kind of treatment simply because Scientology 'point blank' does not recognize autism!

The neighbors are so concerned they want to call in Social Services but Travolta denies it all. They explain the condition as some sort of allergy towards ‘environmental toxins’ and to make it worse, if Jett was to be diagnosed it would label him a ‘lesser being’ in the eyes of Scientology! Apparently, the Travoltas refuse to take Jett out in public and refuse to be part of anything, including charity fund-raisers, where autism is a beneficiary cause! We have to keep in mind that these may be media crazed neighbors who just want to make it big but if it’s true it's disgusting!

Scietologists don't even want their memebers to take aspirin. The medical association are all "evil". I can understand that the soul or spirit is tops but if that's the case then YES, Travolting and Presston ARE basically saying the little boy is a lesser being, it's his SPIRIT...they call it the "Thetan" ..that was born that way and not just a biological condition. :(
But then isn't Dianetics and Scientology supposed to "cure" it? And if Jet is a crazy psychotic thetan you'd think it would help.
They should acknowledge even if it's juts allergies, that's biological, i.e. physical. There may be SOME good doctors in the world huh you'd think.
