Most of you have heard or read about Paris Hilton's violation of her probation because of her reckless driving and now a Superior Court Judge in LA has sentenced her to 45 days in the slammer! Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced her to jail without any perks – not that jail can be perky - i.e. she won’t be allowed to leave jail for work and there is no possibility of her time being substituted by an electric monitoring of her activities!
Last time, I asked you whether you thought she would do the time or whether she would be overlooked due to her fame and so far it looks like she will be going to jail … or will she?

Michelle Rodriguez the former ‘Lost’ actress, was sentenced to 60 days in exactly the same facility Paris is supposed to attend for exactly the same charge but after 2 hours this star was released. The reason for the early release of prisoners is allegedly ‘overcrowding’ – more like overpaying!
Paris seemed to be quite shaken at the sentencing as she began to cry and repeatedly exclaimed to the judge ‘I’m sorry’. As for her lawyer, Howard Weitzman, he seemed to be really angry at the sentencing and even challenged the judge and judicial system claiming that ‘she's singled out because of who she is.’ I for one, really hope the woman serves time in jail.
