Every year, the wild MTV VMA's are an event that no one wants to miss but because MTV shows it about 100 times after it's finished no one really bothers to watch it live! So this year MTV are giving the awards a facelift!
The first part of the change is that it will be airing from Las Vegas, the reason for this being that MTV worries that the VMA’s are getting a bit tame and what better way to make things wild than to move to Sin City! The VMAs previously aired from Miami, New York and Los Angeles, so this year’s venue is quite a change!

MTV is making a smart move and only airing the VMAs once and that will be 'live' and so this will hopefully force everyone who wants to watch to see it on that night. However, apparently viewers will be able to somehow ‘customize’ the show and make up their own version of it online. What's that all about??? The customization process details and the winners of the awards are still to be released!
