Sources have reported that Britney Spears was supposed to perform with a group under the name of The M&M’s in San Diego, Anaheim and LA, her first performance was supposed to start tonight. It looked like all was well according to the owner of the Club where she was supposed to perform, he said: “She came on stage during rehearsals, looking very hot, with four back-up dancers and sang three songs. They ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin'.” However, it seems Britney felt she isn’t ready because she has already canceled a surprise concert at the club.

No proper reason has been given as to exactly why she has canceled all the shows, but apparently it’s because she wanted to rehearse more. BUT just when we thought all was over for Britney, there have also been additional reports that Britney hit the stage for the first time in ages last night for a quick 25 minute show in San Diego. Apparently the show only consisted of 5 songs and a bad fashion sense on Britney’s part but she still did a really good job. Will this show be the beginning of more, or is it true that she canceled her comeback?
