Star of Showtime's The Tudors, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, has checked himself into rehab.
Meyers, who starred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen's Match Point last year, has decided to enter rehab in order to maintain his recovery.
His rep says: "After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
Meyers' schedule has been stuffed lately, he has only recently finished shooting his latest movie August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard & Robin Williams.
But he plans to continue working on his current projects as soon as he finishes the rehab program.

Wish you all the Best and hope you do keep it up. You're doing a good job, as you always do. In some way this is good news, because it shows that he hasn't changed from being the very honest character that he is.
If this is a break that he needs to maintain his recovery, then it's all for the best. It shows that he really does want to and is taking things seriously.
Keep it up!
PS: You might also recognize him from films like Bend It Like Beckham, in which he starred with Keira Knigthly.
