Adam Brody who played the geeky yet lovable character Seth in "The OC" told reporters at the premier of his new movie that he is "still waiting for the spin-off." Brody just finished his latest movie 'The Land Of Women' which tells the story of a TV writer who suffers a break up and so decides to visit his sick Grandmother in Detroit, but when he gets there he meets the ladies next door and they all change each others lives. Very different from "The OC" but hey! I’m all for versatility!
There is no way Adam would ever do a spin off. He was being sarcastic.
Adam brody needs the oc, i means its no oc if all or some of the classic characters leave.

I stopped watching the OC a long time ago. But the one character that I loved the most was Seth. So geeky, cute and funny. There is no other character like him on the set. If he leaves, then that would make such a big difference, not a positive one.
I hope he was serious about the spin off. I would still prefer everyone together on the OC but either way I would still be happy. I miss that show. No show can compare and I don't know why it was cancelled. Ratings were still high and everyone I know loved the show, it's just Fox had to put it at the same time as Grey's which is newer so more ppl tended to follow that at that time.
