Its seems paternity battles are the ‘new pink’ for celebrities because just after we thought it ended with the announcement that Larry Birkhead was the father of Anna Nicole Smiths baby another paternity battle emerged. This time the two parties are: Mel B, the former Spice Girl, and Eddie Murphy. The baby girl in question was born in St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica and is apparently ‘healthy with a good head of hair’.

Mel B named her girl Fortuna Daphne Bay but the problem erupted when she put Eddie Murphy’s name as the father on the Birth Certificate. Murphy has publicly denied any insinuations that Fortuna is his daughter and when asked by a TV interviewer about it he said: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.’ A friend of Mel B’s told the Daily Mirror, 'Mel has no doubt Eddie is the father and she wanted to make the point.' What will this DNA test reveal?
