Angelina Jolie Kidnap Attempt!

jolie kidnap attempt

Angelina Jolie travels to far & remote destinations as part of her job as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR ... That puts her in dangerous situations sometimes ... She was going to get kidnapped!
I'm not just saying that, Jolie said so!
The News of the World quoted Jolie as saying: "It was in a small village. I won't say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily."

It's obvious that Angelina doesn't let one such incident stop her from doing what she believes in; helping the unfortunate people of the world.
She says: "I don't want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood. But I want to help where there is poverty and destruction."
Wow! That's really interesting ... Angelina is really brave to keep on doing what she does although she knows that sometimes it's dangerous ...
Kudos Angelina!

What is the deal with Angelina and Brad needing to travel all over the world to adopt foreign children. They state that they want to adopt from a country that they love! Don't they love America, the country that made them who they are? Aren't there underprivileged children in the United States, or, would that not get them the publicity that they so desire?

Yet another banal and underwhelming statement from a hater.

bravo! hoooraayy!!!Vaginalina Funkinjolick had again captured the hearts and minds of the simple minded croonies, gasping for oxygen and thankful that their hero vaginalina narrowly escaped the orchestrated kidnap attempt, causing more croonies to say, oooh, ahhh, ga-ga-ga over her escape from the self inflicted, publicity motivated game plan.

I have to agree, Myob! I just roll my eyes at all the attempted PR bull, this woman pulls.

Now her attempts at "I am woman hear me roar" are a little far fetched.

The little missy should stay home with her "rainbow" kids and make them dinner. Instead of going to foreign countries claiming of attempts on her miserable life.
I don't hate this woman AJ...Just rather sick of her.

It's just as well she doesn't care what you think of her Gabby and Myob. If everybody was as cynical as you are then nobody will do anything in this world.

it's so much easier and safer to sit at your little computer and type nasty staff on your little keyboard and make fun of people we don't know, right? Bravo! There is hope for the world!

    Hey, Amy

Enought with the "Arent there enough underprivilleg children in the US" crap. I think if a person wants to donate either time or money or take care of another person for the rest of their life, they should have the choice of how to do that.

yes, there are orphans in the states as well, except that they are not dying of hunger and infectious diceases and it takes ages to adopt a child there especially a child of a different race.

And the world does not revolve around America. If they won't to adopt from Mars - let it be. Should be there choice!

    hey kat,

people like us (you and i) more than likely hold jobs (i hope you do) and do our fair share to make this world a better world out of the limelight and the flashes of the camera, and not just sit in front of the computer and criticize other people. you want to see a real hero? look around you---they're everywhere: teachers, doctors, firefighters, police officers, plumbers, carpenters and the list goes on and on, and the responsabilities go on and on without the glitter and all the crap. do i make this world a better place by helping people? heck i do. and i'm sure you do, too. but do i get people praise me and glorify me and all that ek-ek? do you? i don't. chances are, you don't neither. so what's the big deal about her going to those underprivileged countries (with all expenses paid for plus more), and have her pictures taken as if she is holier than thou. let's see if she will continue to do what the hell she's doing without any monetary compensation, INCLUDING having NO free publicity. then and only then i will be impressed.
