PETA warned of sabotaging Jennifer Lopez's perfume event & they came through with their plan!
Jennifer Lopez held a press event & contest in California for the launch of her latest perfume, Glow After Dark. For the contest, JLo was looking for the next girl to represent the product. She held open public auditions & several young women came to the event hoping to win.
PETA was there & two members took to the stage & pretended to audition ... Ha! Ha! That's smart!

Instead of participating to win, they launched an attack against JLo!
While on stage, one of the PETA protestors told judges: "I think the most important thing about being a diva, is not only being sexy & stylish, but not wearing real f***ing fur!"
She then began chanting: "J.Lo, fur ho!".
Security jumped to the rescue quickly & took the girl off the stage!
But what was done was done! It must have been a shock & an embarrassment to the organizers!
Interesting tactic. And at least it was non-violent (unless the security roughed up the protestors) I just believe there are more ways to change the world then such displays of "anti-isms" - and while there has been a LOT of PETA actions I would not agree upon (i.e., destruction of property, etc.) I do believe the group as a whole wants to help and endorse animal rights ... something that is quite lacking in our world. However, that sad, I am not one for ramming whale boats or endangering anyone lives and feel such energy could / should be channeled in other ways to help the animal kingdom. I remember asking PETA repeatedly for help concerning animal rights in Japan and only receiving one automated email that was zero help. A few stunts and "uber" imagery and reporting via the internet can do a LOT for ones image. Plus using the word "f***" really does nothing to advance ones cause.
*said (not sad) - even though yes it IS sad how most perfumes are manufatured and pretested. And until humanity cares about itself along with the creatures of the planet, money will rule the conscience.
