Although sexy redhead Marcia Cross is up for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical, the Desperate Houswife is going to be MIA at the Golden Globes next week! Now, the reason is as follows:
Cross, who is expecting twins in April, has been put on bed rest by her doctors.
There's no real problem with her pregnancy, but it's only a precautionary measure.
Cross says about being pregnant with twins: "I haven't had a thing, I am absolutely, 100 percent fine. But it's hard to carry around all that weight. I wake up feeling like me and then I step on the ground and I'm like, whose body is that walking to the bathroom?"

So, what will happen to her scenes in Desperate Housewives? How will they continue shooting them?
Well, the producers had to act quickly once they learned that 'Bree Van De Kamp' was going to be out sooner than they thought. So they are planning to bring the set to Cross' Los Angeles home for two days this week to tie up her character's story line! That's Hollywood For Ya!
Cross & stockbroker husband Mahoney got married in June 2006. And in October, Cross announced that she was expecting twins.
