Katie Holmes celebrated her 28th b-day last Sunday ... but what did she do?
It seems Katie spent the day with her step kids, Isabella & Connor ... doing some charity work!
The three spent the day giving a perfect Christmas to a needy family in East Los Angeles; they gave them a Christmas tree, presents & loads of other stuff.
I guess that's the most perfect way to spend a b-day, doing good ... especially when it's also time for the holidays & after all it's the time for giving ...
