Despite Mel Gibson's drunken-driving arrest and anti-Semitic rant last summer, his new movie 'Apocalypto' has even toped "Happy Feet" at the box office making more than $15 million during the weekend.
It's a movie about the fate of the Maya kingdom as it faces its decline. The rulers insist the key to prosperity is to build more temples and offer human sacrifices. Jaguar Paw who is a young man chosen for sacrifice, flees the kingdom to avoid his fate.
Every person on Planet, Earth, has done or made statements that were controversial. Who are we to condemn? There isn't anyone who is perfect. We all make mistakes, be word or deed.
Christ said, " He who is faultless, cast the last stone". We are all sinful, and fall short of His Glory.
Let use never forget the "good thief on the cross". He realized Jesus was truly the the Son of God.
Christ said to him, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise".
When we, sinful humans point our pointer finger towards someone who has sinned, let us forever remember, the other fingers are pointing back to us.
Remember too that Peter denied Him three times, and yet Peter went on to become a Saint.
People need to get with it!
