I'm not going to do one of those "The book was better" reviews. This movie was surprisingly entertaining. It's a story about a naive young woman (Anne Hathaway) comes to New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors, the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep)
The movie was really sweet. I thought that it gave me an educational insight into the world of fashion that I've been so distant from lately.

dude what is with you always addressing your posts towards boyfriends and girlfriends.just because youve practically mentioned youve got a girlfriend in EVERY post that doesnt mean all of them should be directed to couples.geez.
Take it easy dude!
The movie phenomena is universally aknowledged as a "group or couple" thing. Less people go to movies alone (if you consider the total percentage) Therefore, it is in the movie-goers best interest to see if the film will suite the tasts of the company as well as himself/herself. This is why I say I mention the girlfriend/boyfriend bit.
I'm sorry if it has bored you.
well ill be glad if you shoved in 'groups' in there.it did kind of annoy me because some movies are different genres which suit different audiences which in turn suit either individuals, groups and couples.devils prada is about journalism and i dont see any romance in that so why should it be directed towards couples?
personally id rather watch this movie with my girlfriends and id rather watch horror movies individually so really your whole theory about the movie phenomena thing isnt true.
anyway yeah im sorry i was in a bad mood the other day because i worked an 8 hour shift.
