I watched this movie hoping it would be all that it was supposed to be. It got huge reviews and topped the box office at one point. But this movie is a good example of how my taste differs from the rest of the planet.

Sure it was a fun movie to watch, sure it had Sam Jackson being as bad-ass as ever, sure it was a new idea with an extremely ordinary title, but how it got such good feed-back I will never understand. It was shallow at many points, the acting of some of the passengers was corny and cheesy. And even the snakes were so artificial, you can tell from a mile away that they are poor CGI.

The hype from this movie might be due to Samuel Jackson’s role, even though it was a bit weird since wasn’t so big.
In a nutshell, watch this movie to be entertained with loads of popcorn and coke.
Don’t expect miracles.
