Lindsay Lohan got herself another deal! She has signed on to star in the big-screen adaptation of Tennessee William's screenplay, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.
The script was discovered after Williams' death & published in 1984. It is believed to have been written in the 1950s.
Lohan will play Fisher Willow, a 1920s Southern gal with a fondness for stirring up trouble!
Her character has no patience for narrow-minded people & no problem with shocking & insulting those around her.

Fisher falls in love with Jimmy, the son of an alcoholic father & an insane mother! So, naturally she tries to pass him off as an upper-class suitor in an effort to deceive her disapproving aunt, who controls the family fortune.
It is obvious that Lohan has been choosing roles which have nothing to do with kids & child orientated matters. She seems to be pursuing her dream of wining an Oscar before turning 30!
