Matthew McConaughey is in Queensland shooting scenes from his latest movie, Fool's Gold, with co-star Kate Hudson. Last night he was spotted celebrating at Iron Bar in Port Douglas with a group of locals.
Matt went wild, shouting & dancing to the tunes of a local band playing at the bar.
Dressed in army pants, a t-shirt & thongs, Matt shouted just after midnight: "It's my birthday! I just turned 37!" He also treated the locals to a round of drinks.
As for tonight, he's already booked the bar at Port Douglas's Courthouse Hotel for another celebration.

Matthew...Party, Party, Party ...You're never going to live down the Naked Bongos gig...so...might as well have some fun...I've been known to dance on a table at a Ramones concert...hey, there wasn't any room on the floor and I wanted to see the band! I talked my husband into going with me to the show...it was a hit! And, I hear in Australia they won't arrest you for having the urge to get down. I read you're story about the twins...way to do the right thing...It's like my gradma used to say...it isn't what you think someone else might be doing...you do the right thing and it won't come back and bite you in the ass! For real. That's my motto too...anyway. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. Don't work too hard now...and learn to play the Didjeridu in your spare time...hey it's harder than it looks....believe me.
this b day is not like when it's someones brith day it have something too do with things when world war 1 and 2 was going on this kind of b day started in the 19's when other things was going on with the war like when the german's was trying to take over denmark things was gettinmg out of hand and crazy people was getting kill and somepeople did't have alot of food and things to eat and drink like this book my class is reading called numbering the stars its about people takeing over other people things and the way they don't eat like we do
