WMA 2006

Michael Jackson will be making a very short appearance next month at the annual World Music Awards that will be held in London.
The Pop star will receive the Diamond Award, which is designed to honor artists who have sold more than 100 million albums. Previous recipients of this awards include Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi & Celine Dion.
Melissa Corken, founder & executive producer of the WMA's said: We are thrilled to be bringing the World Music Awards to London, the music capital of the world. The UK is the home of many of the world's greatest selling artists of all time. The presence of Michael Jackson is very exciting for us.

It's worth mentioning that the awards coincide with the 25th anniversary of Jackson's album "Thriller," which has sold more than 40 million copies since its release in 1981.
The World Music Awards this year will be hosted by Lindsay Lohan.
