Madonna’s ‘Confessions’ concert will air on NBC on November 22nd, on Thanksgiving eve. But … it will kinda’ get censored!
The scene of the crucifixion, where Madonna is shown on a mirrored cross wearing a crown of thorns, will not be shown during the NBC Special.
After getting threats of boycotts & a possible viewer backlash, Madonna & NBC have decided to trim shots of the controversial mock crucifixion from the upcoming Special.
That specific scene has been condemned as an act of hostility against the church. Some religious leaders even slammed Madonna for using such a holy religious symbol as a concert prop.
As for why Madonna came to use such a symbol in her concert, she defends her actions by saying: This is not a mocking of the church, rather, it is my plea to the audience to encourage mankind to help one another and to see the world as a unified whole. I believe in my heart that if Jesus were alive today he would be doing the same thing.

Thats so wrong..how dare she. that isnt any stupid plea, its mocking us Christians... No one should dar ein their right mind even think about making fun of that, for any type of reason.

She's a shock crock and even admits herself that if she had as much talent as she does ambition she would be scary! BTW the cross has been a symbol way before christianity like the ancient Celts and other people not sure but look it up.
Yea but the point of hanging herself upon it and wearing a crown of throns kinda points to it being Christian :x :P :D Plus, the womans HAS been scary for like..um, ever? She needs to retire, shes rich enough.
