Its been almost 20 years since Robocop blasted on the big screen. Wow, 20 years! I was watching the trilogy the other night remembering my childhood days. Try watching Robocop in reverse…meaning watch part 3 then 2 then1. You might come to the same conclusion I did…yes, they get better.
1 is the best with the best story, music, acting, and can you believe it…effects! I thought that special effects were supposed to get better as time went by but apparently it doesn’t work that way with Robo.

The great thing about Robo is the gadgets that they used. I was too young to remember but I’m sure there weren’t any video CDs in 1987. And in addition to other gadgets, and the wonderful ED209, the 1987 Robocop seems great even by today’s standards.

I advise you: go and watch a movie which is about 20 years old and see the big difference between it and today’s shallow movies. Another good trilogy would be the Terminator, although that runs up till almost the present day. Terminator 1 in 1984 is great and works perfectly even today.
