I haven’t seen a good horror movie in quite some time now. My friend recommended “The Hills Have Eyes” and as usual I thought it would be just another mindless horror movie with zombies, lots of blood and police that never show up.
I was right!
But, I have never enjoyed such a movie like that before. It was actually good and not stupid.
The story has been done before.
The monsters have been done before.
The ending was nothing special.
The acting was normal.
Looking back on it, I can’t think of a single thing this movie had to offer which was original. So why did I like it so much?
I still don’t know!

The only thing I can remember was the violence. I haven’t seen such violence in quite some time! It was raw, extremely well acted and believable. This is a tip for all you blood-thirst movie goers: Don’t take your girlfriend to this one, it might end your relationship forever!
