Entertainmentwise.com reports that Johnny Depp has announced that he'll retire from acting when he becomes 50!
Depp believes his sex appeal will not last for much longer and he worries his looks will fade once he hits 50! He says: I won't last in film much after I turn 50. People go on about how well I look for my age, but what happens when it all drops? I could end up as the Cliff Richard of film.
What do you think? Is Johnny Depp gonna lose it all by the time he's 50?

Okay looks are important and we all know that he is drop dead gorgous, but what makes him especially beautiful is his forever pure and evil soul. We all have that capacity to produce heaven or hell on earth, but every one's calling is different. He is quite the special one, and yet so innocent in many ways. The difference is that he choose (by his circumstances) to share his heart with us. I feel special that I can see right through his eyes the life force of his existance. The fact that he will quit at 50 bothers me none, because I know he will be happy. He could continue at 50 and beyond and it wouldn't matter, he will always be Johnny Depp. No matter what he does he will have peace and joy if he follows his path. PEACE
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he can't and won't quit acting, he's too good and has thousands of dedicated fans all over the world who think so as well, who cares if it drops he'll still have plenty of fans like me to scream there head off at him and i'll be screaming for a long, long time since i'm only 13. Also he can't quit cause he has'nt came to Bonnie Scotland yet :D

JOHNNY DEPP IS A VERY GOOD LOOKING GUY AND HE IS ALSO A VERY TALENTED ACTOR. HE WILL ALWAYS BE A GOOD AND TALTENTED ACTOR. HE HAS MADE ALOT OF GREAT MOVIES. HE IS KICK ASS IN PIARTES. JOHNNY COULD PROBABLY ACT FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE AND PEOPLE WOULD PROBABLY STILL REMEMBER HIM. HE IS MOVIE MODEL. AND A VERY GOOD ONE TOO. SO IT WILL BE SAD TO SEE HIM GO AWAY AT 50. GOOD LUCK.

JOHNNY DEPP is so unique and beautiful, yes--beautiful!, that his persona will never die. He may retire, and that will leave us all sad to have no new movies to look forward to, but he will always be the ONE AND ONLY! Johnny needs to follow his heart and do what is best for him and his family. I really don't think he is so shallow as to base such a major decision on looks alone. He is much deeper than that. His looks are perfection and will only change, not drop. His contribution to the art of acting has been unequalled and will remain so if he choses to continue. His fans are fiercely devoted to him and will love whatever he does. For now, we just need to enjoy having him still with us and when the time comes for him to retire, our love will still be with him. Best of luck, Johnny. Listen to your heart--it won't steer you wrong.
It surprises me that Johnny Depp wants to quit @ 50. Why on earth would he say that?! He is a beautiful male that would age gracefully as it is already apparent to many of his looonnngggg time fans such as myself. I would love to see him for many more years in any great movie that he hopefully chooses to do. So JOHNNY, don't break my heart and quit!

I hope he keeps making good movies. I am a big fan of his to. When i was watching him on 21 Jumpstreet I was in Love with him and I still am in Love with him when I see all his movies and yes he still is good looking even though he is fourty three and he will still be good looking in his 50's to and so on. :) And liked it when the pirate in The Pirates of the Carribean He's funny and He was funny in Charlie's Chocolate factory to.
