It seems Mel Gibson was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Malibu early this morning for suspicion of drunk driving!
According to the police, Gibson was pulled over for speeding in his Lexus, then was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Bail was set at $5,000 & he was released later in the morning.
A sheriff's official says that Gibson had a blood alcohol level of .12. The legal limit in the state of California is .08.
Why cant they leave Mel alone? He is only human and he made a mistake for which he apologised!
Why is it, when a star makes rude comments or acts immorally, they are said to be modern and cute, yet when one makes one mistake (that is easy to make if u are at friends and think u r ok to drive), they are condemned to hell?
People are just jealous of Mel's success and want to bring him down. Well I am afraid they cant do that because I think Mel is one of the best actors out there and no one should judge him but God!

Mel made a mistake under the influence! I do not feel that he meant what he said. Many people say things they do not mean that are hurtful when upset or angry even when they are not under the influence. What does the attack on him publicly do to help the situation. Mel has apologized twice and I do believe that he is sincere and regrets those hurtful words. I believe no matter what religion or faith you may practice you should not judge others lest you be judged. We all need to look at ourselves and ask the question, Have we ever said anything in our lifetime that has been offensive to others, be honest! If you can not forgive such an offense than you must ask your self why? We all make mistakes, forgivness and love is what the world needs and if we can all do that maybe it would be a better place.
This incident deserves the attention it is getting.
He is lucky he has not been charged with evading arrest also.
Anybody can say they are sorry. It is meaning it that matters. He has followed the typical Hollywood appology. Let your press agent handle it.
The guy is obviously racist against Jews. His father is a racist, so why would anyone think Gibson is not after making those comment?
You might like his acting,or think he is good looking or whatever, but you can't dismiss this just because of that.
Mel Gibson verses the idiots in Washington who do not care about any of us. We’ve a fool who vetoed stem cell research that could help millions, drug prices are out of sight, the ozone layer with ice caps melting, the earth is heating up and the storms are getting worse, they are drilling in waters and making things worse when sugar could be converted into fuel, we go to a country one over from where Benny boy was and I’m suppose to care what and actor said. We’ve child molesters all around and half of them we do not even know where they are? But what do we find all over the news, on talk shows and etc. where are your heads people be glad I can not say where I think they are.
