Hollywood actor/producer/director Robert De Niro is set to produce a movie about rapper Missy Elliott.
According to reports, De Niro & his company Tribeca Films, will produce a biography movie about the rapper, but there is not title set for the movie yet.
I would like to see Missys story on the big screen seeing that I am from NORFOLK VA. and that she grow up in PORTHSMOUTH VA which has a tunnel between the two cities. Iread an artical about how she had such a rough time coming up and I know frist hand about the area she lived in inPortsmouth , lets just say if you don,t know anyone in Portsmouth don,t go there alone and even if you do don,t mess with the projects especialy the one she grow up in. But I have to admit I had not heard about Missy until she came out with her frist song. The artical said that she had a girl group in high school at Norcom I think thats were she went and that she was producing music for other people then.But my thing is who is out there now with that kind of skills that can carry off her role. Miss Elliott
is a hard act to follow, she is so unique in all that she does.I am very proud of Missy and all of the people who has mad it big from what we call the Tidewater Area which incluedes Hampton,Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portshouth,Newport News and Chesapeake,but as Timberland saids The Big VA.,but who would playMissy I can see Fantasia in that spot who do you think could pull it off.
