Alanis Morissette and Ryan Reynolds have broken up after a two-year engagement & a four year relationship! It is not yet known why the pair decided to split up, and representatives for both stars have refused to comment on the break-up so far.
Alanis always credited the success of their relationship in part to the fact that they're both Canadian. "We already started off with the shorthand, so I think it's a really great base. I attempted dating many American men. I tried!"
And as for the engagement, she says: "We're just really enjoying this phase."
As for a wedding, the couple never announced plans or a date & Ryan always said: "We feel like we're already married."
The couple met in 2002 at Drew Barrymore's birthday party.

I thought they made a great couple its sad they broke up but i`ll take Ryan off her hands.
