Brad Pitt sent an email to his fans at the Cannes Film Festival, where his new film "Babel" was due to have its world premiere.
Pitt apologised for not being able to attend the movie premier & said that he is tremendously proud of 'Babel' and wanted to congratulate everyone involved in this great achievement.
He explained that he couldn't be in Cannes because he has to be beside Angelina Jolie for the "arrival of the newest addition to our family".
The email, which was read out at a news conference for the film, was signed "Brad Pitt."
