Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has always been present at Cannes Festival because she is an ambassador of French cosmetics giant L'oreal.
On the opening night of Cannes Film Festival, she arrived at the red carpet with Hollywood actress Andie MacDowell.
Rai stars in two upcoming movies Singular alongside Brendan Fraser & Chaos alongside the great actress Meryl Streep.

i think that she is gorgeous and i really do admire her and yes she can act. alot of ppl try to bring her down, maybe becuz they just nv her or hear alot of stuff about her, buts that only natural in a celebs life and i think we should focus more on her talen and work than her personal life, however being a celeb, you have to pay a big price. but top class performance in devdas.It's good to see that she's getting alot of international exposure and after that beauty pagent it has definitely pushed her over the edge.Here in trinidad we definately love and her and hope for she visits here one day

aishwarya rai is charmless.. to add to it she acts awfully. is fake n a disgrace to india n especially indian women. she behaves ultimately ridiculous on world tv also, she has no intellect n her brain only works towards loking good. even then she looks plain and ugly in front of other actresses of bolllywood n hollywood both.
Why do women tear each other down so? you even know this woman and u are passing jugdement on her sounds like u are very angry at someone.
She is a marvelous actress and dancer. She is captivating on the screen. I've seen her in "Taal", "Kuch Naa Kaho", "Devdas", "Bride and Prejudice" and others and she has won me over. A huge talent and absolutely beautiful
Ash is a wonderfull actress and dancer. She is an inspiration to me because of all the things she has acomplished and because of all the goals she has set for herself. Instead of staying in India and being a TOP bollywood actress she has moved on to further her career in hollywood. Think about all the things she has acomplished first before you judge her character. It's not all about good looks anymore, in this lifetime you need the WHOLE package.

she sucks as an actress, and no she's not beautiful. she can be pretty in some pics but in many she is nothing but annoying. this is MY opinion. just because i don't agree with people who think she's beautiful does not mean i am jealous of her. and as for the press, when it comes to promoting celebrities, they help to form public OPINION. beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. some of you behold her to be beautiful while others, like myself do not. so stop trying to dish out an argument that obviously "doesn't hold any water."
