David Copperfield, the most famous magician in the world, was robbed at gunpoint by two teenage boys after his performance at the Kravis Center on Sunday night.
Copperfield & his two assistants were walking to their tour bus near CityCenter at approximately 11:15 pm after having dinner, when they were approached.
"I had a gun pointed at my head from 6 inches away," Copperfield said Tuesday,"I'm pretty good under pressure. That's my job. But I had two young ladies with me."
The boys reportedly took off in the car in which they came & were caught about 10 minutes later by West Palm Beach police at approximately 11:25 pm.
According to the Palm Beach Post, 4 suspects are now behind bars. They've been charged with armed robbery and are currently being held without bail.
Hmmm ... I wonder, couldn't he have done something?

With a gun 6 inches from YOUR head, what would YOU have done?
And I strongly doubt that a man who has hung from his ankles by a burning rope 10 stories above flaming spikes while escaping from a straight jacket, among many other dangerous stunts he's done over the years, was afraid for his own personal safety. Copperfield had two ladies with him, and why should he endanger their lives because he wanted to play hero? Quite rightly, he shouldn't have, and didn't!
Copperfield did the right thing, nobody was killed or hurt and the bad guys were caught.
