Joaquin Phoenix and his Walk the Line co-star Reese Witherspoon have earned themselves a CMT Music Award nomination for best collaborative video of the year. And might claim their award at a ceremony in Nashville on April 10th.
The video, which is their version of the Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash tune Jackson, was taken from the movie in which both actors did their own singing.

It would be nice if they won since Walk the Line SHOULD have been nominated for Best Picture and Joaquine Phoenix SHOULD have won Best Actor. This film is a solid achievement and deserves every possible award.

Phew.......I thought I was the only in LOVE with joaquin these days......he did do an amazing job in the movie..I liked it so much that I watched it a few times over the weekend and forced myself to send it back to netflix in order to break the obsession! Though.....I'm constantly hearing about him. I can't believe it's taken me this long to watch the movie!

Glad to print these comments so my husband won't think I'm the only crazy woman around. Everyone I know who saw the movie said Joaquin should have won instead of Hoffman.
