Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton’s head designer has asked Lindsay Lohan to pose for photos of the Autumn/Winter 2006-2007 collection.
If Lohan says Yes, she is going to replace model Gisele Bundchen as the face of fashion label Louis Vuitton.
Criticism has already been offered about the 19-year-old Lohan posing for Louis Vuitton; she isn't sophisticated enough to represent the prestigious fashion house! But she doesn't need to be sophisticated, as Jacobs has stated that he wants his next ad campaign to be young and cartoony.
Looks like her underweight look has done her more good than bad!

i really dont think shes that sophisticated to get the job and shes to young and not that profesiional for louis vouton i think shes a good actress and singer and all i love her but i really dont think shell cut it with that job
What in the world is Mark Jacobs thinking? Why would anyone want Lindsay Lohan to represent such a prestiges and sophisticated name like Louis Vuitton. This is one of the things screwing up society these day's. This set's an example and clearly sends the wrong message to young people. It say's look you can "dabble in drugs", be bulemic, drink at clubs while you are underage, change boyfriends every week and then lie and say that you never did it or admitted to it. I am sure they can come up with a Young, Fresh and Sophisticated Women with a good reputation at best, without going as low as Lindsay.

Its as bad as Nicole Richie being the spokesperson for Jimmy Choo - i made my last trip to the LV Madison Ave location on Saturday and have no intentions of returning until Marc Jacobs comes to his senses.
Give her a chance she has taken on the music industry and survived im sure she can take on this but i dont know the outcome but just give her a chance to see if she is good enough you are all way to quick to judge
i think she deserves it ..but i doo think that early days when she was not fat but on her weight and cute were sooooo better than now that you can see her skeleton and bones ....it's tooo much but she is absolutely gergous

I am a LV freak but having Linsey or w/e her name is represent the company which is world renoun is a huge mistake, to have her as model is just wrong. I also believe there are beter designers fit for the job. Marc Jacobs is not good enough for Louis Vuitton. Vuitton should seek out new employment for their wonderful comapny.

i collect louis vuitton ads....this hobby started when i saw the goddess like niomi campbell in the ss04....then i totally fell inlove with the artsy advertising of lv when they came out with fw04....and since then i have archived and collected lv ads......the women who posed for the brand has a certain contribution to fashion and pop culture..... the likes of eva hersegova, jlo (dubtful)uma thurman, christina ricci, scarlet johansen, liya kadebe, kate moss, niomi campbell, karolina kurkova, caroline ribiero maggie rizer and gisel bundchen....... dont get me wrong lidsey is a good singer and an ok actress....... but she just doesnt have the mystery and allure that should go with a person that pose for mert and marcus......... if only her life is not all over the tabloids......
