Rumors have been going around in the past 2 weeks, that the two stars are together, as in smooching & dating and other stuff!
The couple were spotted dining together at a New York restaurant on Monday night. And were spotted during the day time together as well ... Hmmm ?!
Until this time, Eva Mendes is denying rumors that she’s dating co-star Joaquin Phoenix.

I hope it's not true but at the Academy Awards ceremony he mouthed I LOVE YOU EVA. All his female fans would be very disappointed it if is true, including me. And life goes on.
What he mouthed was longer than Eva. I thought that he might have said Eva too, but when I watched it again in slow motion, it was definitely a longer name than Eva.I don't think it's true. Eva has a long time boyfriend and her and Joaquin haven't known eachother long enough, in my opinion, to begin a relationship.
I actually thought he mouthed "I love you River" because he then turned to his mom and smiled.

I considered the River possibility too, but as much as Joaquin dislikes to talk about River, I really can't understand why he would look directly into the camera that he knew would be broadcasting all over America and tell his late brother that he loved him. I'm sure that he may talk to River privately hoping that he can hear him, but I doubt he'd say it into a camera. I think maybe he directed it towards one of his neices or nephews. Whoever he said it to obviously knew he was going to say it and he told them to be watching.You could be right though. The only way we'll ever know for sure is if he tells it himself.
I'm sure he said I love you Eva...He said after playing JC he wanted to find that special someone..she is beautiful...and they look good together...maybe that is why he took that role..he was thinking of quitting acting...maybe she could get him to cut down on smoking..

You probably are right, that was my other thought...that it was to one of the nieces or nephews. I doubt very much, for someone that is as closed as he is about his personal life, that he would have said Eva...especially since they just met less than a month ago. But if he is happy with her, power to him. And like Port said, hopefully she can get him to stop smoking!
It definitely looked as if he mouthed, "I love you, Eva". I would go with that... I knew once he did that it was going to be a big speculation about.... what did he say??

I just recently found out about rumors of Joaquin and Eva and I think it's great. Hey, I adore Joaquin just as much as the next girl he's just so yummy looking and such a great actor and if he can find happiness with Eva, then more power to them. She's a beautiful girl and I'm sure they have a great connection!!!!! The both of them look cute together!!
Listen I know Joaq has Thousands of fans saying they adore him but i am much different. I didnt even know who he or Johnny Cash was until i saw Walk the Line. Now I only watch most of his movies because he is in them. I love him singing Johnny Cash songs and I love Johnny Cash. Everyone is giving me crap about how they dont know who Joaqin is and he isnt a good actor and he is to old. I would be so amazed and thrilled to meet him and if he wants to go out with Eva that is his choice all i would love to do is meet him! And only my opinion is that I think Him and Reese would make a very cute couple, but if he likes Eva its fine with me.
Yes, if he is dating Eva and is happy with her than I am happy for him, although I must say that really squashes my dreams....
And I think he and Reese were cute together in the movie, but she's married with kids, and her and her husband look adorable together. There's somebody out there that's meant for Joaquin. If it's Eva or not...we'll just have to wait and see!

i don't know if it was realy or not & i have no way to know , i jealous from you all because u are in usa at least you have a chance to contact him , but me iam farway iam from egypt & i love him so much & i hope to meet him one day or even call him .
