Love transcends age. You don't hear people making a big deal of the 20+ years between Katie and Tom. Or 12 years btw Pitt and Jolie. What difference does it make if it's the woman who's "older"? The Jackmans have a strong, all-encompassing passion for each other, it goes beyond petty things like a couple of insignificant numbers. Let's toss out those old-fashioned rules of who should be older. With so many celebrity marriages ending in divorce, let's support this couple who sets a shining example of how a union should work - and does.

I've been in their company, and frankly, aside from the relationshipI have with my husband, I have never seen a more loving couple than these two. It's obvious, by the way he looks at her, that theirs is a marriage of true love. How wonderful to see a couple so much in love. I wish this for all of you.

So what exactly is your point here? You expected someone sexy, beautiful, and young, specifically no older than Hugh. Obviously, the term “beautiful” is a subjective one, but I think that most people would agree that Deb is at least very good-looking and I’ll bet that Hugh and a lot of other men would consider her beautiful. As to “sexy,” well, that’s obviously a very personal, private thing. If by “sexy” you mean a woman who has large breasts which she shows off in revealing outfits, who gives “come on” looks and overtly tries to be sexy, then, I guess that, no, Mrs. Jackman isn’t sexy. But I think that a mature person (and Hugh is about 38, I think) has a broader definition of the term and realizes that being sexy isn’t confined to those traits and/or behavior and that women who aren’t “young” can be sexy, as well. So, bottom line, I’d bet serious money that he finds his wife beautiful and sexy, and hey, to quote Meat Loaf, two out of three ain’t bad. And as to the comment that “She might be great,” apparently, Hugh thinks so. When he won the Tony for his performance on Broadway in “The Boy from Oz,” the first person he thanked was his wife, because he said that too often people making acceptance speeches for awards run out of time to give proper thanks and he wanted to get the most important thanks stated right off the bat. So, yeah, I think that he thinks she’s great. And, as someone even older than Deb, that attitude and the fact that he sees value in a woman over 40 makes Hugh seem even sexier to me than he does based only on his physical attributes. I think they’re both very lucky to have each other.

Deborra-Lee Furness is 13 years older than Hugh Jackman. She is a mother/mentor to him. They have a respect and affection for each other, but it is not a romantic true love marriage.

Who says their marriage isn't a romantic, true-love one? You don't know them personally, do you, that you can say what's in their hearts? Only they can say, and I've seen interviews with Hugh when he gushes with love for Deb, and says they are soul mates, and the best decision he ever made was loving her and marrying her.

Who cares about their age difference? They certainly don't. It's their business anyway, and no one else's.

Whoa, it's none of your business who Hugh Jackman is married to, as long as they are both happy. It just goes to show that love is not based on beauty and that Hugh is a very down to earth and respectable man. However, Deborra-Lee Furness happens to be attractive, but you really shouldn't judge since they seem to be happy together.

This is not really a pure comment. I will just hope that Hugh will have more up coming movies. I am one of your avid fans from Philippines. And my feelings for you is not really ordinary because I deep from my heart that I am already inlove with you. I always remind myself that this feelings that I have is really useless,but I believe that nothing is impossible if there is determination. And I am determined to do anything just for you to read my message. I know this is really really true because I never admired a man whose status is already married. Well, looks can be deceiving when it comes to the cameras. Even Brad and Jen looked happy - until everyone found out they were breaking up. Okay, okay - that's wishful thinking..shame on me. She's a smart lady to keep a man like him happy. And that does come with age and experience. I should know. I'm an 'older' woman, too. And I'm sure he could have anyone he wants! I certainly wouldn't object!! But we all know Hugh is really hot! Yeah, he's one I could really sink my claws into! In the best way that is. Oh baby! Can't wait for X-Men 3! I've worn out the first two videos already!

The woman was a bombshell back in her day, so I can easily understand why he fell in love with her. I was a little surprised, but to each his own. They've maintained this long, there has to be something there. But I agree, they're adults, we don't know what really happens behind closed doors. They might be really happy, and then again,maybe they're not.Either way, I wish them well, because it's bad enough that these celebrities think marriage is a game. So if there are some out there, that truly take it seriously, then good for them.

Well, I think Hugh is absolutely gorgeous. I admit when I saw that he was married it was upsetting.(like I will ever meet him haha) and I was more upset to find out what she looked like. But I am not the one that married her, he is. If he really does love her than people should be happy for him instead of knocking down her looks. I mean she isn't hideously ugly. I just saw him with a gorgeous younger girl because he is so gorgeous. But looks aren't everything. Then again if he was married to a younger model persay, I would want him to divorce her for me as well. haha
