African-American comedian Richard Pryor has died Saturday of a heart attack at age 65. He had been ill for years with multiple sclerosis, a dangerous disease of the nervous system.
A series of hit comedies and concert films in the '70s and '80s helped make Richard Pryor one of Hollywood's highest paid stars. In 1983, he signed a $40 million, five-year contract with Columbia Pictures.
His films included "Super Man", "Stir Crazy," "Silver Streak," "Which Way Is Up?" and "Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip."

Good Bye to a great comedian / actor. Will miss him making us laugh
Richard, was my idol. He took painful situations and made you laugh at them. He was the best comedian, I have ever listened to! God Bless Him!
