In my opinion, Kia has produced another showstopper with the new Kia Koup. The name itself might be unimaginative, but vehicle is not. So far, the Koup is the most streamlined vehicle made by the company that I’ve ever seen. Well, I’ve only seen limited models. As fitting as its name, the Koup is a 2-door coupe that is based on the subcompact model, Rio. This stylish coupe runs on a twin-turbo direct-injection 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. This engine allows the coupe to produce 290 bhp and 289 lb-ft of torque.

This new SUV has space for seven passengers, yet isn’t too big! It’s just the right size and comes with a refined, comfortable interior and leather seats.

The car comes in two types of engines, one with a 3.6-liter V6 engine and the other with a 4.6-liter V8 engine. But, KIA is going to present a model fitted with a clean-diesel engine about a year after Borrego hits the market. So, you don’t have to worry much about gas prices!

The SUV is one of the most preferred types of vehicle by a lot of people these days, especially by those who prefer a more spacious interior with a sporty yet elegant exterior. Kia’s new sporty Sportage will sure have a very receptive audience in the world market. Next month Kia will unveil their 2008 Sportage SUV in the Frankfurt Auto Show so Europe will be the first to enjoy this vehicle. There’s still no update as to when the Sportage will be shipped to the U.S. so you folks over there had just better hang on to your seats.
