Japanese carmaker Honda is one of the world’s largest and most poplar auto brands. Sales is doing so well that they are even expanding to Argentina. This news has been confirmed by the company themselves. Because of the rising insistence for Honda vehicles in South America, Honda is prepared to spend as much as 100 million US dollars for the new factory. The said factory will be built right in the heart of Buenos Aires and will begin production in the second half of 2009. For the factory’s annual productivity, the company has set as goal of 300, 000 pieces that will be exported to neighboring countries Chile, Peru and Brazil. Vehicles to be produced will be along the compact passenger styles.

The factory to be constructed will open up job opportunities for a lot of people, that’s for sure. The plant will need approximately 800 people for its work force. They will be the responsible for the pressing, welding and assembly of the vehicles.
