Suzuki Splash

Young families will now have another choice for a vehicle with the looming introduction of the Suzuki Splash. Its 5-seater design is really compact yet stylish vehicle. Some of its features and specifications are based on Suzuki Swift, so don’t be surprised if it bears some similarities. This car will be built in the Suzuki plant in Hungary together with the GM’s Vauxhall Agila. By September this new Suzuki model will debut at the Frankfurt auto show.

Those desiring to have the Suzuki Splash will have 3 choices in terms of engine. Two are designed to run on petrol – the 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine that can generate 65 horsepower and the 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 86 hp. The third option that will be built is the 1.3-liter diesel by Fiat. A 5-speed manual transmission will be used as standard for these engines. But a 4-speed automatic can also be ordered.

Safety is likewise ensured in the Suzuki Splash with its anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution and stability control. Six airbags and seatbelts with seatbelts pretensioners are included in the safety features.

Pricing will be released before the September auto show.
