Dreaming of having your own car? Well why not stretch your dream a bit further – to own a car company! Swedish automaker Volvo is in the market now. Profit loss of its mother company Ford Motor Co. has brought about this move. If you don’t have the cash for it, BMW on the other hand will not pass up the chance to obtain this vehicle brand. Yup, BMW immediately sniffed the scent of the possible sell up. Reports also say that BMW went for informal talks regarding their intention to purchase Volvo.

Reports have had it that BMW has been analyzing their chances of acquiring Volvo from Ford. Price has not yet been disclosed on the Volvo line up but by selling these remaining luxury car brands, Ford will have a way to somehow make their fortune turn out for better and be able to recoup their losses. Back in March, it was said by Volvo Cars Chief Executive Fredrik Arp that Ford was dedicated in keeping the Volvo brand. But it’s May now so it’s probably safe to ask, Ford have you had a change of heart?

The question is whether BMW is going to be the buyer. That is a very fluid situation right now.
