Next week will be another exciting time for vehicle aficionados because a fleet of new and hot cars will be unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. For sure the displays will be something to make you drool. I’m sure at this time all the other car makers out there are already getting geared up for the show.

Ford Motors in particular has already given a peep on the three high-price, limited-production model they will have for the show. These are not just any car they manufactured because each bears the stamp of a specific automotive celebrity. Brace yourselves for the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR, 2008 F-150 Foose Edition and the 2008 Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition.

The Ford Shelby GT500KR is actually a mustang customized by auto celeb Carroll Shelby. Wondering what the KR stands for? It’s for King of the Road, what else? Under its engine is the supercharged 5.4 V-8 engine that can rev up to 450 horsepower. Security and comfort on the road is delivered by the installed Brembo brakes as well as customized suspension and body panels. If you want muscle and aggressive stance the 2008 F-150 Foose Edition will be up to your taste. This specialty truck was designed by Chip Foose hence the name. It also bears a supercharged V-8 engine with 450 horsepower and 500 lbs-ft of torque. And the third one is the full-size SUV 2008 Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition that’s designed by music disc jockey and auto aficionado Funkmaster Flex. Everything about this SUV embodies the designer himself with its wild paint and totally flashy interior.
Limited edition will be made of these cars so they’re definitely worth watching out for.
