Kia Kue Concept

Performance and sporty driving – these are the inspirations that gave life to the new Kia Kue concept unveiled at the ongoing 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, USA. The bold new design direction introduced in the Kia Kue expectedly drew raves from attendees of the 2007 Detroit show. The new concept from Kia offers a fresh approach to the concept of crossover utility vehicles with its sleek and stylish exterior. Clean aggressive line merge with an aerodynamic design to create a stunning vehicle with a modern visage. Inside, the athletic theme continues with the understated elegance of the Kue’s interiors.

Performance is emphasized with a monocoque platform that sits on 22-inch tires. The concept is also powered by a 400-horsepower, DOHC, supercharged 4.6 liter V8 engine that produces 400 lb-ft. of torque. Although the Kia Kue is purely a concept at this point, we hope to see a production model based on it soon. The next best thing will be to see elements of this concept integrated into new production models from the South Korean automaker.
