Honda Recalls SUVs for Headlight Wiring Problem

It’s not only Porsche and BMW cars that are experiencing some problems. These two brands recently issued a recall of several thousands of vehicles for fire risk. But it seems they’re not the only ones having problems. Honda is too.

Honda has issued a recall for over 550,000 CR-V and Pilot SUVs because of a wiring problem with the headlight. Take note that affected CR-V SUVsmodels are those from years 2002 to 2004 while Pilot SUVs are those manufactured in 2003.

Porsche and BMW Recall Cars Due to Fire Risk!

Porsche and BMW owners listen up! Your car could be one of the models affected by the massive recall issued by the said German carmakers.

If you own a BMW 5 and 6 series model years 2003 to 2010 you’re definitely affected. The problem with the said models is quite serious because it of a faulty battery cable cover. A badly-placed battery cable cover could cause failure in the electrical system and this could cause the whole vehicle to catch fire.

This is one of the worst recalls ever for BMW because there are about 1.3 million affected vehicles. Affected owners are encouraged to contact their local BMW dealership in order to address the problem suitably.

Nissan Revives Datsun Brand!

Did you miss the Datsun brand? It’s been three decades since Nissan got rid of it in the US. But after all this time, Nissan had a change of heart! It’s bringing back the Datsun brand! This should be happy news for Datsun’s die-hard fans.

Carlos Ghosn CEO of Nissan made the announcement on Tuesday in Indonesia. The new marketing strategy for the Datsun is that it will be placed in emerging markets instead of developed ones because it’s where the biggest growth is expected for affordable and classy vehicles.

Among the standout models at the Palexpo Arena is the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which is now the fastest model from the brand! This can generate 730 HP and 690 Nm of torque with its excellent 626cc v12 engine.

Toyota Recalls Tahoma, Camry and Venza!

Safety is one of the most important things to consider when driving hence car owners like you should be aware if your vehicle has flaws that could put you and your family’s life at risk! So you should know that Toyota is issuing a recall of a 682,000 of its cars and trucks due to different problems.

Among the models affected are Tacoma trucks manufactured from 2005 to 2009. The flaw lies in the steering wheel spiral cable assembly. This needs to be replaced as soon as possible because friction between the spiral cable and retainer could cut the connection to the driver’s airbag, which could activate airbag warning light and deactivate the driver’s airbag. So if there’s a crash the airbag won’t be deployed.

Aside from super fast performance, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is a fuel-saving machine as well. According to Ferrari, this model’s fuel consumption has been reduced by 30 percent in order to achieve an overall efficiency of 6.67kmpl.

Bigger Fiat 500L to Debut at 2012 Geneva Motor Show

After the disappointing sales of the 3-door Fiat 500, the Italian automaker is trying once again to capture the market’s interest with a new model, the Fiat 500L! This is actually the fourth addition to the Fiat 500 family! As you can probably guess, this new vehicle is a bigger one than the 500 hatch; the “L” at the end of the moniker stands for “large.”

The new Fiat 500L is now a more practical choice of transport because Fiat rightly added two more doors as seating for a fifth passenger. But hopefully, with these added features Fiat also threw in more leg room for passengers and also cargo space.

2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is So Good!
