If you have not heard of her, she is another plastic non-talented graduate of the college of "Boos l wawa" - has come out recently declaring that she was forced under the threat of violence to make a pornographic video.

According to Manar three men lured her along with her manager to Halab in Syria under the pretense of a concert, however once there they led them to a secluded location where they threatened Manar with guns and acid if she did not comply with their demands. She then described briefly ( thank the Lord for that as what she was saying is nauseating enough ) what they made her do!!

It does not end there but she goes on to say that the men made her sign some papers and told her that Madonna - the Lebanese singer- sent them due to some legal issues between the two lovely ladies. Ms manar apparently was too distraught after her release to inform Syrian Authorities and all she wanted was to get to Lebanon safely where after two of her arrival she informed authorities there of the attack by unknowns!!

I need to add that the whole assault was revealed in a press conference to convey her suffering to the whole world, and in which Manar stated her fear that she will face the fate of the late Suzanne Tamim.......

I myself find many loopholes in her story and dare I say I feel no sympathy whatsoever, no offense to any of her fans here if she has any that is!

Who is Mostafa Zamani that women love him so much? What charisma does he have that make them go weak in the knees?

Mostafa Zamani is the man who portrayed the leading role in the series Yousouf Payambar. This was his first attempt in the entertainment industry but surprisingly he did a great job! He cemented his position in the entertainment industry with this TV series. And of course, the ladies were captivated by his good looks!

Although he is a talented actor, his start in the entertainment industry started out on luck because out of 3000 people who auditioned for the role of Yousouf (Josep), he was the one who got picked.

The funny thing is, after his shot to stardom he would walk on the street yet people failed to recognize him. They didn’t recognize him in his natural look. He had to wear brown contact lenses over his natural green eyes and had to wear darker makeup for the role. Well, it’s no wonder people didn’t recognize him.

Mostafa was born in Iran but and currently living in Tehran. He has a degree in management and worked as an accountant before he got involved in the movie industry.

Need a richer vocabulary? There’s a new word you can add to your verbal skill. “Unfriend” is the latest verb that you have to learn. If you are a techie who uses Facebook all the time, this term is definitely of great use to you. “Unfriend” refers to the act of removing a contact from a social networking site, like Facebook.

The word “Unfriend” was chosen as 2009’s Word of the Year by the Oxford University Press. You might be wondering why this word was chosen. Well, according to Christine Lindberg, a senior lexicographer for Oxford’s U.S. dictionary program said that the word has “both currency and potential longevity. In the online networking context, its meaning is understood.” Well, seems like a very sound reason to me.

But do you know that Unfriend has several hardy competitors? Its significance and relevance allowed it to beat other contenders like “hashtag,” “netbook,” “freemium,” “birther,” and “tramp stamp.”

But I do hope this won’t inspire you to start “Unfriending” your Facebook or other networking site contacts!

So, what can you say about the 2009 Word of the Year?

Tunisian so-called singer Sandy has taken it upon herself to criticize Salma Hayek for her choice of wardrobe on the red carpet of The 33rd Cairo International Film Festival!
Sandy, who showed up in a revealing, Toga inspired dress, thinks Salma's simple dress makes a mockery of the festival!
Salma, who won a life achievement award during the opening night of the 33rd CIFF, showed up along side her husband in a simple and modest blue, green and black print wrap dress from Balenciaga.

What would have Sandy liked Salma to wear?
Maybe something that shows cleavage? A body-hugging dress with a slit revealing Salma's legs? Maybe something trashy that would be to Sandy's taste!

According to Salma, she chose to wear such a modest dress, although she's used to wearing revealing gowns in international festivals, out of respect to Egypt and the people attending the event.
So what if Salma usually wears revealing dresses? Do we bash her for opting for a modest look?

Personally, I think Salma wore a beautiful dress and such a big star doesn't need to resort to revealing dresses to catch the attention of the media in such an event.
Sandy on the other hand, might not have been noticed on the red carpet if she has put on something decent!
I'm not saying Sandy's dress is sexy! On the contrary, I think it's totally unsexy, ugly and cheap!

Nancy Ajram was the target of many media attacks in the past few days for cheering for the Egyptian football team before the heated match between them and Algeria on Saturday.
In these attacks, the Algerian media went as far as calling Nancy a 'Scorpion'!
Nancy expressed her support for the Egyptian team and wished them luck and that wasn't to the liking of her Algerian fans who thought she should have stayed neutral and not showed such enthusiasm in wishing that the Egyptian team wins!

Now, after all that's been happening after the match, Nancy released a statement to MBC revealing that she does have a special relation with Egypt and because it's football, she was cheering for one of the teams. It happened to be the Egyptian team because she feels very close to Egypt and loved the Egyptian people.
She also revealed that such an attitude doesn't mean that she has anything against Algeria and the Algerian football team!
She saluted the Algerian team and wished them the best.

What do you think?
Should Nancy have kept her preferences to herself because she's a star? Or does she have the right to express her feelings like any other football fan?

Will Haifa Wehbe star in her own 'Fawazeer'? That's the question that's been bugging Haifa fans since before Ramadan!
Rumors have been coming and going about this new 'Fawazeer' show and it was nearly confirmed that Haifa's riddle show has been canceled ... but it turns out that that's all not true!

It's been officially confirmed that Haifa is going to start filming the 'Fawazeer' in December and she's going to get paid a whopping $1.5 M for 30 episodes!

The reason the show wasn't ready for Ramadan 2009, is that the songs for each episode weren't quite ready and still needed work.

The show is now scheduled for next Ramadan. So be ready!

Planning to go to Russia and try some of the country’s best kebabs? You might want to skip the kebab part after you hear this piece of news that was published by BBC. Well, caveat emptor because you just might be eating human flesh! Can you imagine the grossness of it all?

Here’s the story. A few days ago a 25-year-old man was murdered in the suburbs of Russia. According to the police, the suspects chose the victim because of “personal hostility.” The three suspects came after him with knives and a hammer.

The body of the suspect was found in a forested area near the transport stop in the city of Perm. What this victim went through is beyond human imaginings. His body was dismembered, some of it was eaten and some were also sold to a “kebab and pie kiosk.” This is according to the suspects’ statements. As of this time, it’s not clear whether any of it were served. The name of the kiosk was not revealed as well.

This crime is so gross I can hardly take it all in! This makes me want to be a vegetarian. At least I won’t be able to eat human flesh without knowing it!

The three suspects who were said to be homeless men are now being held in Perm, a city 1,400km of Moscow.
