I only have one word for Tunisian singer Ahmad Al Sharif ... Bravo!
I saw his new video clip for his new song "Bady Atir" (I want to fly) today and it really impressed me!
The song is nice, worth listening to and really perfect for Ahmad.
The video clip, which is directed by Emile Slailati, is really cute. It's fresh, fun and totally cool!

I think it's shot in Lebanon, but where is that place? I want to go there!
Ahmad Al Sharif's new album seems to be really hot! What do you think?

Shams

After undeniable success with her hit single and video clip, "Ahlan Izayak?", and one of the most aggressive advertising campaigns this side of Rotana (Latifa, eat your heart out! ), Shams is getting ready to release her latest video. Her new album, which pioneered with an Egyptian dialect CD and a Khaliji dialect CD in one album, was produced by Surprise Entertainment (from the USA), and distributed by ARM and Mirage Records. With 23 tracks in "Shams 2007", Shams had a big selection to choose from, but she chose the romantic song, "Ghamadt Eineik".

Photos from Asalah new video clip

Asalah Nasri is definitely a very busy bee these days. In between recording sessions and deadlines, her new video Bein Eideik ("In Your Hands"), has just premiered on Rotana Music's "Awal Marra" show. The song, written by Ahmad Ali Moussa and composed by Ramy Sabry, was made even more beautiful with the video that Asalah's husband, Tarek Alarian, directed and starred in. The video, like both of Asalah's previous videos, was shot in Prague, in the Czech Republic. After Aktar, an expression of Asalah's newfound happiness, and Arod Leih, which explored the end of her previous relationship, Asalah continues with the theme of a biographical album. The video shows the romance and affection that Asalah and Tarek share as a couple.

Lebanese singer Rola Saad has suffered as a child ... She was on orphan & spent lots of lonely nights in an orphanage. Rola's latest video clip -which will air on most music channels in a few days- is inspired from her own suffering.
Rola has actually finished filming her new video clip, which takes place in the backyard of her own home in the south of Lebanon.
The story of the clip is as follows, Rola plays her own self in the clip, a star, who has adopted an African boy from an orphanage. She holds a birthday party for him and makes him a happy kid.

Although I listen to less capable voices such as Melissa, Rola and Cyrine Abdelnour, I always appreciate a powerful voice. Just looking at my music collection, It is obvious, I have Asalah, Latifa, Fadel Chaker, Nour Mehanna, Shahenaz, Dina Hayek, Sabah, Um Kolthoum, Najwa Karam, Hussain El Jassmi, Nawal, Zekra, and other great voices. Singers like these don’t even need to think of applying the “sex sells,” strategy that is applied by virtually every other Arab singer and “singer” today. However, sometimes even the greatest of singers can lose their sanity.

Zizi Adel was one of the students of the popular TV show LBC Star Academy ... She wasn't the best, but she did have a good voice & potential to make in the music business.
It seems she hit it well with Rotana, because she's got a debut album out & a video clip as well!
I watched the clip today & found it to be nice! ... The words to the song are not bad, the music is good & the video clip itself is fine! At least there's not nudity!
Zizi has been hiding all this time & has surfaced again to show us that she does have potential to make it the music business there days ... Unlike the guy who picked up the title of Star Mohammad Attieh! ...
You know what! Kudos Zizi!
