The much awaited second season of the Syrian drama Ahl Al Raya has been postponed until after Ramadan. I guess this is some bad news for all those who have been waiting!
The director, Samer Barqawi, revealed that the delay isn't because of script problems or because of the busy schedule of the actors, but because of technical difficulties and nothing more.

Surprise! Surprise! Nancy Ajram is going to be the guest of the Queen of talk shows, Oprah Winfrey!
Nancy will be the guest of Oprah in a 12 minute interview through Video Conference, in the show that's being recorded tomorrow, August 26th.

For the past few years, days before the Holy month of Ramadan begins, TV channels start advertising their Ramadan schedule.
The grid contains religious programs and talk shows, but the majority of the grid is full of TV series, whether Egyptian, Syrian or Khaliji.
It has become a norm that Ramadan is the month of TV series and the champion is the person one who can fit in as many series as possible per day!
I know of a person who was bragging that she managed to watch 10 series during Ramadan! Kudos Wallah!

The second season of Syrian TV series Beit Jeddi is also known as Al Sham Al Adyia. Yes, it is the same series with two different names, we got confused at the beginning when Rotana aired the first teasers, calling the series sometimes Beit Jeddi 2 and some other times Al Sham Al Adyia!

I liked the first season of Beit Jeddi and though I feel sad that Abu Antar (Naji Jaber) won't be part of the second season because he passed away 5 months ago... the series seems very promising, especially with the new character of Abu Hijaz that the writer Marwan Al Kaouq has brought into the series.

The Turkish drama Al Hob Wal Harb is going to come to an end on August 20th and to accomplish this mission, MBC is going to start giving you a double dose of the series everyday starting tomorrow!

Although it was about a week ago, but people are still talking about the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

This season may have many similarities to the previous years, but it does have many new and varied issues to deal with and many social messages to get across to the Arab world.
Naser Al Gasabi and Abdallah Assadhan return to make us laugh at moments that we might all go through and won't find very funny when in the middle of!

Miss Lebanon 2005, Nadine Njeim, is taking her first steps into the world of acting!
Njeim will be appearing in the upcoming Ramadan TV series 'Rijal Al Hasm'. Nadine stars alongside big names in Syrian drama, like Basel Khayat, Ismail Maddah and Fayez Qizik.

I wonder, does Nadine have a talent for acting? Will she present her character in a believable way?

Abbas Al Nouri, the much loved ‘Abu Essam’ of ‘Bab El Hara’ takes on a totally new role this Ramadan. Contrary to his good and loving character in ‘Bab El Hara’, A Nouri plays a vicious thief, a murder and a gang leader in ‘Shitaa Sakhen’.

The story of the series revolves around the issues that poor families face in society where the lack of necessities and money causes them to turn to violence.

Lebanese singer Maya Nasri has been practicing her other talent lately; acting!
This year, Maya is starring not in one but two Ramadan series, ‘Rejal Al Hassm’ a Syrian series and ‘Wakalet Attiah’ an Egyptian series. Quite the diversity don’t you think so?

Maya confirmed that she is not trying to steal all the lights by starring in two series at the same time but says that this was a mere coincidence.

Finally after a long anticipated wait, and after all the publicity and adverts SYTYCD special 100th episode finally aired. I have to give two thumbs up to everyone that worked on it because truthfully it was an amazing show.

Starting the show, where all 8 contestants they performed a group routine choreographed by the superb Mia Michaels, quite a fun way to start the show.
