Taj Haydar, Alive and Kicking in Ahl Al Raya!

The rumor that stated that Syrian actress Taj Haydar dies in a car crash is so old and those of you who believe it, should get over it!
Taj is alive and well! She's just not in Bab el Hara anymore!
Taj is currently starring in the Syrian series Ahl al Raya and she's taken this as a chance to prove that she's still alive!
Even Syrian actor Samer Al Masri, who plays Abou Shhab, said numerous times that these are only silly rumors and that she's alive, healthy and just fine!
It's strange what a person would gain from spreading such a silly rumor! And the people who believe this rumor are kinda' silly too! Simply, if there hasn't been an official statement or something on the news, then it's not true!

Finjan Al Dam with Jamal Sulaiman in Ramadan

If you're a fan of Bedouin series then you'll be happy to know that during Ramadan, there are a couple of them on MBC! (I've already posted an article about Oyoun Alia)
The Bedouin series Finjan Al Dam or Cup of Blood, stars giant Syrian actors Jamal Sulaiman and Ghassan Massoud!
The story is about revenge and how it's woven into the Bedouin way of life.
The story, which puts struggle between tribes under the microscope, happens during the 19th century when the Ottoman Empire had the Arab world in its grip!
The series is interesting and full of action and it's always a pleasure watching Sulaiman doing what he does best!

Tayem Hassan Loves You Too!
Syrian actor Tayem Hassan is now one of the most famous names in Arab TV series and some may even say he's bigger than Jamal Sulaiman too!
Tayem did an interview with Rotana magazine last months and revealed that he considers Sulaiman to be his mentor and he has huge respect for him. He also makes it clear that he hasn't stolen Sulaiman's fans!
You've seen Tayem in the trilogy about Alandalous, Saqr Quraish, Rabia Cordoba and Muluk Al Tawaef. He did a great job and left a lasting impression in the minds and hearts of viewers across the Arab world.
But what about his role in King Farouq last year? Who did that work for him?

If you're fans of the Syrian actor Tayem Hassan, like we at WALEG are, then you'll be happy to know that MBC1 is running a new Syrian TV series called 'Al Intithar' -The Waiting- starring Tayem Hassan and a bunch of other famous actors.

He bumps into gangsters most of the time and is bound to deal with them when trying to help his fellow neighbors.
Al Arrab with Tayem Hassan And Elissa

Last Friday, two of the most famous faces in the Arab world got together for a special episode of Al Arrab on MBC1, Syrian actor Tayem Hassan and Lebanese singer Elissa.

Some of you may have read about the ‘Discover Syria’ rally last year where group of no less than two people take their cars and drive from one side of the country to the next experiencing the amazing culture of Syria. Well if you haven’t heard of it you sure will this year especially after ‘Bab El Hara’ star Samer Al Masri –aka El Akeed Abu Shhab- disclosed that he will be participating. First thing I thought was I didn’t know he was a rally driver, well he isn’t and seeing as which there is no ‘off-road’ driving you do not need to be a pro or have a rally car to participate.

Tayem Hassan: ‘I just didn’t expect it’!
Syrian actor Tayem Hassan’s success as King Farouk this Ramadan meant that every major talk show ranging from ‘El Kahera El Youm’ to ‘El Beit Beytak’ wanted to interview him. Well during his interview on ‘El Kahera El Youm’ a Saudi Arabian lady called him up to say that she was so impressed by King Farouk from the series that she decided to perform Omra for him! Obviously, this turned on some red lights as King Farouk was accused of several things including propagating his ideas and endangering the security of Egypt at the time.

Fake Scandalous Photos of Samer Al Masri?!

Those of you who frequent chat rooms that discuss ‘Bab El Hara’ will have seen photos of Syrian actor Samer Al Masri drinking alcohol and with several women. These photos provoked quite a scandal and Al Masri has come out and said that they are obviously Photo-shopped. He went on to say that not only was the lighting wrong in the pictures but also they show him wear a brand of watch that he never wears and a shirt that is only worn by members of the ‘lost’ youth!

Notice the hands on both pictures, they aren't identical!
