We watched the last prime on Friday with such sweet sorrow …
They were 3 hours of art, music, fun and towards the end suspense …
And everybody waited to see who the “STAR” would be with crossed fingers …

Mohammad Attieh is the first LBC Star Academy Star...
Throughout the past four months most of us have been sitting in front of the TV , keeping track of what is happening in the Academy … 16 students from all over the Arab world ; Lebanon , Saudi Arabia , Kuwait , United Arab Emirates , Syria , Egypt , Tunisia and Morocco. We got to know them and love them and vote for them … but the rules of the game demand that every week there are three nominees; one of them will leave the academy according to voting from the audience and to the other students choosing another student to stay …

Usually the details are what make something special, and this time the guests, the portraits and the unexpected surprise made this prime really worth seeing. If there is something to be said about this week’s LBC Star Academy prime, it is that it was exceptional.
Only three students are left in Star Academy; Kuwaiti Bashar, Egyptian Attieh and Tunisian Baha’… every body had their own speculations about who the finalist would be, thus leaving two nominees in the danger zone…

Today is the 21st of March “Mothers Day “ and on this happy occasion the LBC Star Academy arranged a little surprise for Tunisian Baha’ and Egyptian Mohammad Attieh; their mothers came to visit them and spent the day with the students at the academy...

Rumors, rumors, rumors … when are people going to understand that rumors are results of lack of common sense! People who start a rumor and others who believe it and participate in spreading it around are the same … plain silly!

What can we say about this week’s prime … it was the same in many ways, yet different as well … I guess all the primes are like that … but this time it was special with its guests; Lebanese Najwa Karam and Egyptian Issam Karika …

This week two nominees are two guys, Saudi Mohammad Khalawi and Kuwaiti Bachar Shatti...

Sunday evening the students of LBC Star Academy got a special visit from the famous Lebanese singer Elissa. She came in a simple black jacket and skirt, wearing very little make-up - because a very close member of her family had died - , yet looking beautiful as usual…

Three months and one week have passed … and every prime is more intense than the one before … this prime was the most intense till now …
As usual, it was full of various sketches and songs in addition to 2 well-known guests; Diana Haddad from Lebanon and Baha’ Sultan from Egypt. The nominees were two fabulous guys; Tunisian Ahmad Sharif and Saudi Mohammad Khalawi…

Did you guess who the nominees this week are? Maybe you were right, maybe you were wrong … but even if the nominees had guessed it would be them, it was a surprise …
This week two nominees have been chosen “as usual”, and this week the nominees were two guys … Tunisian Ahmad Sherif and Saudi Mohammad Khalawi.

Star Academy Prime this time wasn’t as full as usual, only four students performing and two nominees.
The guests were Lebanese Pascal Mash’alani and Yuri Mraqadi. Baha’ got the biggest share in singing with Pascal, both Attieh and Ahmad each sang with Yuri. Khalawi sang solo once. Bachar & Sofia also sang, but with a touch of choreography with the help of the dancing group...

Every week we wait to see who the nominees are, this time we waited and were surprised...
