home: Star Academy Maghreb

Hajar

On Friday 29/06 was the final prime of Starac Maghreb. It was a fantastic night;
Many guests attended the prime among them: Saber Robai, Lotfi Bouchnak,
Folla, Ayman Al a3tar (superstar2), Faudel & Cheb Khaled. The night started not with the hymn of starac "leely tweel", but with 40 Kids singing "Allah ya molana" they sang a song for nas el 3'iwan (Moroccan Group) it was very touching listening to angelic voices singing such a difficult song in such a perfect way.
Then, the four finalists; Hajar from Morocco, Ahmad from Lybia, Soraya from Tunisia & Hamid from Morocco entered and sang "leely tweel".

Star Academy Maghreb

Rumors say that the reason behind the delay of the launching of Star Academy Maghreb that was supposed to start in last Ramadan is the conflict between both; the Lebanese and the Maghreb versions. The producers of the Maghreb version denied that and said that the only reason behind the delay is the casting because they were very accurate in choosing the 14 contestants that will participate in the show.

They already chose the 14 contestants but they were not very convinced of them as they wanted students who have the ability to sing well and properly.

Star Academy Maghreb 1

Nabil Al Qarawi, owner of Qarawi & Qarawi World, said that the new Tunisian private TV channel "Nesma TV" will begin broadcasting at the end of the year making it the second private TV channel in Tunisia but it will be directed to North Africa countries (The Arab Maghreb).

Broadcasting from Paris on Nilesat and Arabsat and produced in Tunis, the station will grab the attention of its North African viewers with variety programs, movies, Hollywood TV series, sports and children’s programs amongst others.

Did you know that there is a casting taking place in Tunisia these days for the first edition of Star Academy Maghreb?
Star Academy Maghreb is another version of Star Academy, but this one is specifically for countries in North Africa; Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya and probably Mauritania as well.
Many young people showed up for the casting, Which not only requires the participant to sing Arabic songs but but R & B, Rai music, Regea & many other styles are also welcome!
Do you think Star Academy Maghreb will succeed like LBC Star Academy?
