The first prime of the new season of star academy has been delayed to the 25th of this month according to an announcement on LBC TV after it was previously confirmed that it will starts on the 18th.
No reason was given for this new delay, however we predict that the new candidates aren't ready yet, some of them arrived only a few days ago for the preparation...

We hope no more delays will occur.

Since there have been lots of rumors circulating about the time the 5th season of star Academy begins, it's time to put all those false reports to sleep!
It has officially been announced that LBC Star Academy 5 will begin on Januray 18th, exactly one month from now.
This year, unlike the past two years, there's a delay in the kick off ... why? Maybe because of the Eid or the need for time to prepare for the upcoming season after Mission Fashion has ended ... Maybe!
We're all excited and are waiting to meet the new students ... we have to wait and see!

The 5th season of LBC Star Academy is only a couple of weeks away and there are already a few rumors circulating about a couple of things ... the most intriguing one is about the presenter ...
During the past 4 years, we've gotten attached to the prime presenter Hilda Khalifeh.
But rumor has it that this year, she's going to be replaced by Mais Hamdan!
What do you think? Is it time for a new presenter to take the stage of Star Academy? Or is Hilda the perfect person to present the show?

It hasn't been confirmed yet but according to different sources on the net, the 5th season of LBC Star Academy will start on December 21st! This makes us less than 2 weeks from the first prime. :) Good news, right?

We hope that this season will be better and the students will be more talented and will have good characters so that we would enjoy watching them! Hopefully this year will be a "fights free" season since every year we witness a lot of arguments between someone's fans and another's and countries against the others as if the war has been declared. It is kinda’ silly actually.

Please everyone; tell us what your expectations from this season are and what you hope to see. There are rumors saying that this is the last season and if so, I guess all our hopes will be high. Wish we will all enjoy it. :)

Meet 19-year-old Najwa ... a Moroccan girl with loads of dreams and ambitions. Her dream is to get accepted for LBC Star Academy 5 and start her way up the ladder of fame!
Najwa has a good chance of getting accepted; she likes belly dancing, acting and singing ... we can't deny that she's absolutely beautiful too!
According to Panet, Najwa stood in line for the casting in Morocco, went in, gave it her best and she says the feedback is positive ... But the question remains: Will she go to Beirut or not?
Only a couple of weeks left and we'll know the answer.

As is the case every year before the launching of a new Star Academy season several rumors of candidates, plans and decor are surfacing. Obviously we have all heard of the alleged swimming pool that is said to have been added along with the regular changes of the decorations. But something that some may not have heard is that Star Academy 5 will in fact be the last Star Academy season to air on LBC ever. The reasons for this have not been disclosed though and we cannot be sure if this is actually true. Has the controversy of it all gotten to Rola already?

It isn’t unusual for Star Academy to receive a hefty amount of criticism from people because of the fact that males and females live together etc, however, some of the arrangements this year may lead to quite an uprising. Rola Saad ,the Executive Producer and the woman behind Star Academy, has decided to install a swimming pool into the Academy this year for the 5th season of the show. Rola says that the contestants go through a lot of stress and a swimming pool is a great way to have them release this stress in a productive way.
