This is the first daily resume of the season!
It's the most hyper-active resume we'll see of the new students! You may wonder why ...
Well, it's their first night in the Academy, they have to jump and run and shout to show how excited they are! And the did that ... one even jumped in the new indoor pool with his clothes on! Naturally, he couldn't have taken off his clothes! That would have been interesting though!
Oh! And Iman from Tunisia tried to do 3 trillion things at the same moment! She's Hyper!
The students took to the mic quickly and expressed their happiness by singing patriotic songs, each for his/her country.
But, none-the-less there has to be a quarrel or two that has to happen! And the 1st of this season is between Zaher and Ahmad over a bed! Or was it between Ahmad and Khaled?! But, it's over a bed in all cases!!! That's silly ... no?
As for Thiya and Shahinaz, they took to the kitchen sink and washed up after having dinner, but they tried to trick Mustapha into helping them! He did ... Good Boy! Shater!

The last 5 students we meet are:

Amal from Algeria. She lives in the city of lights, Paris and sings in Arabic, English and French. But i wonder, why was her age NOT mentioned? ... She looks older than 27 ... is she?
Mirhan from Egypt. She's 25 and loves singing and painting.
Both girls dreamed of singing alongside Najwa Karam and tonight their dream came true!

Omar from Iraq is 24. He plays the guitar and the piano.
Thiya from Morocco is 22. She plays the guitar, sings in three languages and is one athletic chic!
Ahmad from Egypt. He's 22 and also plays both the guitar and the piano.

So, 20 students from around the Arab world! One busy season!

Now we get to meet 7 more students:

Amaal from Tunisia, she's 22 and loves dancing and modeling.
Zaher from Palestine is 20 and sings in both Arabic and English.
Bader from SA. He's 23, works, studies and sings in Arabic, English and Indian!
Abdullah from SA is 18. He's a walking smiley face!
Iman from Tunisia is also 18. She's an active dancer and loves to do the Salsa.
Fawaz from Kuwait. He's 22, plays the Clarinette and loves photography and going to the gym.
Khaled from Kuwait is 18 and is an adventurous dude!

The next 5 students we meet are:
Jessica from Lebanon. She plays the Piano and the Saxophone.
Nader from Tunisia is 20 years old, plays the guitar and sings in 4 languages; Arabic, English, French and Spanish,
Mohammad from Jordan is 22 and he plays the Nai, guitar and Darboukka! His hobbies are Sports and Horse-back riding.
Adnan from Syria is 19 and he plays the guitar.
Mustapha from Lebanon is a cute 18-year-old dude. He sings in both Arabic and English.
Mohammad and Adnan kicked off their 1st ever performance alongside Nabil Shuail.
As for Jessica and Nader ... well, i hated that they sang in PLAY BACK mode!

Najwa Karam performed the 1st song of the season ... and i must say, her dress was fantabulous!

The first three students we got to know are Asmaa, Shahinaz and Saad.
Asmaa from Morocco is the youngest of all the students, she's only 16!
Shahinaz from Egypt is 23 and has sung at the famous Cairo Opera house!
Saad from Lebanon is 21 and is a professional piano player.

It's their 1st time on the LBC stage and they've done their best ... it's not easy standing in front of the audience of Star Ac! No?

We are with you LIVE from the 1st prime of the much awaited program Star Academy in its 5th season.
The atmosphere is overwhelming and the feeling is unlike anything you've felt this year!
It is great to see Hilda Khalifeh again and meet new students from all over the Arab world.
We are proud to tell you that WALEG is the only site that gave you 3 names from this year's students; Fawaz from Kuwait, Amaal from Tunisia and Thiya from Morocco! And their photos too!

We know that they are in Lebanon now at this very moment and that they are among the chosen 19 contestants, unless Rola Saad decided to send them home at the very last moment... which means in less than an hour from now ;)!

Get ready! The much awaited 5th season of the popular talent show LBC Star Academy kicks off tonight!
The guest stars are Lebanese Najwa Karam and Kuwaiti Nabil Shuail.
Tonight, we'll get introduced to a new stage and a bunch of girls and guys from around the Arab world.
They will spend about 4 months cooped up in a huge house -we already know that- and will do their best to compete at a title that will open the gates of fame for them!
Will the opening show tonight blow our brains out? Will it be explosive? We're waiting for something more impressive than last year ... No?
What do you think? ... Will the 5th season of Star Academy be as good as the last one? Or will it be better?
I'm hoping for a very interesting season ... I don't want to get disappointed!

All we know about the 5th season of LBC Star Academy is a bunch of news that might be only a bunch of rumors! It's been Hush Hush for a while, but news seeps out and we write about it!
The latest news is that the star to kick-off the 1st prime on Friday the 25th will be Najwa Karam.
Will that be the case ... we have to wait and see!
As for the re-current report about a swimming pool in the academy ... there's a 50/50 chance of it being true!
But, there has been news that if there's a pool, then the girls will definitely have to wear something more decent than a swimming-suit!
