Mohammad Kammah, aka Elwad Kammah from Star Academy 4 has finally signed a 10-year recording contract with Good News Music company, which will include 7 albums. He’s already working on his first album.
A single will be out sometime this May, written by Bahaaidin Mohammad, composed by Kammah himself, and it will be shot as a video clip. Kammah will also take part in Good News' first collection album entitled “Good News 1”. It will include some songs by Mohammad Nour from WAMA, as well as some other newly discovered talents. This album will be out in June.

Star Academy star, shatha Hassoun, has got hings working for her!
She's getting ready for a tour in the US, which starts on April 13th.
Shatha will be performing for the Arab audiences in the US in Detroit with Walid Tawfeek on April 13th.
On April 19th, she'll be in Las Vegas for a huge party alongside Tawfeek as well.
On April 25th and 26th, she'll be holding concerts in Los Angeles, and on april 27th she'll be in San diego with Walid Tawfeek again.
As for May 5th, Shatha will be in Canada for a concert alongside Geroge Wassouf.

Anyone who watched the 4th season of LBC Star Academy will know the intriguing and interesting question of Shada Hassoun’s nose. Well Shada has come out to speak about whether or not she will have the cosmetic surgery on her nose. According to Shada she never considered surgery until Madame Roula offered that the Academy pay for it. Shada says she was scared that she would like the way she looked on camera and despise the way she looked in the mirror, but know that she has learned to accept her appearance she has seen that it isn’t as bad as she had once though.

Well there has been a lot of talk about Star Academy star Amal El Anbary’s marriage to Osma Faham. Amal was attacked and called a home wrecker as some claimed that Osama was married, and whilst neither Amal nor Osama made a statement Osama’s dad couldn’t let this go on any longer. His father issued a statement in which he publicized that his son has been happily married to a woman by the name of Lara for seven years and he has a 5 year old child from her.

You surely haven’t forgotten Star Academy 4 finalist Marwa Ben Sghaier … Well, for the past year, she’s been spending her time working on the much awaited series Jeeran in Lebanon.
But, she has finished shooting and has finally returned to her country, Tunisia last Friday.
She was welcomed at the Tunis - Carthage Airport by hoards of fans and her countryman Imad Jallouli!
I wonder what she’ll be busy with now that she’s back home?
It seems from the photos that she’s lost a bit of those extra pounds… a chubby gal, she is no more!

Those of you who watched the Star Academy 5 Prime on Friday will have seen the extravagant performances by last season’s winner Shada Hassoun. Shada sang two of her own songs plus an Iraqi medley with some of the students. The thing that caught my attention most was how over the top and extravagant Shada was. She changed her hair, dress and jewelry after every performance and it seemed to me like she was trying to outshine the students.

You will no doubt remember Amal El Anbari one of Star Academy’s most spoken about contestants. For all those Amal fans out there you will be pleased to hear that she will be working with Mohanad El Greydan on his first composition which Amal will sing in the Gulf accent. This single will hold the title of ‘Dey Hayatak’ and I believe will be Amal’s first single outside of the Academy! Amal traveled to Kuwait where she is finalizing several contracts and where she recorded this new song.

Its official: Star Academy Winner Shada Hassoun has been given a ‘Diplomatic Passport’ by Iraqi officials! A source stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Iraq decreed that Shada’s new passport be finalized and sent to her through the Iraqi Embassy with all due haste. This is obviously a huge honor for Shada but what has outraged many Iraqi’s is that members of the Iraqi National Football team who recently won the ‘Asian’ cup were refused this honor!

So what does it mean to carry a diplomatic passport? It means that for some countries she will not require a Visa and will receive special treatment wherever she goes! To be very honest I do not see what Shada accomplished to receive this token! Yes, she was successful in the last season of Star Academy and yes she has a beautiful voice but she hasn’t done her country any service that deserves a diplomatic passport! Maybe it was the CNN segment on her that did the job! What do you think?
