The prime kicked off with a song by guest of honor, Iraqi Majid El Mouhandes. He also sang a couple of songs throughout the prime.
This time the remaining finalists sang two songs, one of their choice and one recommended by the judges.
Elie Bitar was the first to go on stage and he started off with Samra ya Samra by Karem Mahmoud.
He did good and got four green lights! Congrats!
The second contestant to get up on stage and sing was Abdel Majid Ibrahim and he sang Ma Btifrahsh by Shireen. He did well and also got four green lights. Congrats!
The third contestant to take to the stage was Asma Al Jabiri. She sang Harramt Ahebak by Wardah.
She did very good and got four green lights as well. Congrats!

Tonight only five finalists will remain after the unlucky one is voted off!
Who will it be?
The 3 contestants to stand in the danger zone are Murad, Dunia, Diana!
But the one with the least votes is Dunia!
It was kinda' expected because her last performance wasn't good at all!

The seventh prime of Super Star 5 last night was a tad bit different from the past 6 primes; each contestant performed twice, once alone and then together in duetto with another contestant.
The guest was Lebanese singer Walid Tawfiq.
There was also a touching reportage about a humanitarian activity the 6 finalists did together, they paid a visit to the St. Joud Children Center for Cancer.
The finalists kicked off the show with a medley of Tawfiq's most famous songs.

The first finalist to sing was Dunia from Morocco and she did Ah Ya Leil by Shireen.
She didn't do so well and got three red lights and only one green light!

Last night, another unlucky Super Star contestant was sent packing!
According to the voting results, the finalist to get the least votes and thus ends his Super star journey, is Saudi Aidarous Al Aidarous.
Aidarous leaves behind a fellow Saudi still competing for the title, Abdel Majid Ibrahim.
This leaves 6 finalists for the upcoming prime next week.
How will they do on Sunday? and who's going to leave next week?

Yesterday the 6th prime of Future Super star was very entertaining with the presence of the famous singer Nabil Shuail. Oh! It was also Wael Mansour's B-day!
The night kicked off with a medley of Shuail’s songs performed by the remaining 7 finalists.

During the show, Nabil Shuail revealed that he's working on a new album in which he collaborated with a number of famous names like Ziad Butros! But he also said that he'd love to get a tune from Abdallah AlGoud as well!

The first contestant to sing was Aidarous from Saudi Arabia. He sang Betrehlak Mishwar by Wadih Al Safi.
He got two green lights and two red ones!
The second contestant to sing was Dunia from Morocco. She sang Kul Elli Lamouni by the late singer Thikra.
She did great and got four green lights!

Tonight another contestant will leave the show and leave 7 finalists competing for the title.
Who will be standing the danger zone this time?

The results show started with a review of how the 8 finalists performed last week.
Some of them were great but others weren't so fantastic!

Tonight only three contestants are going to move to the danger zone.
We immediately know that Murad, Elie and Asma are safe.
So is Diana and Dunia.
But the first is Aidarous, the second to follow is Hussam and so is AbdelMajid!

The program Superstar, the Arab version of American Idol, was meant to be a phenomenon, and the first season was exactly that. The finals were impressive with Diana Karazon, and Rowaida Attieya. The streets of Damascus and Amman were lined with posters and photos of them, showing their support. However, season by season, I am noticing that the show is losing it's fame and attention.

Superstar was meant to showcase the beautiful voices of the candidates and help them achieve their goals in singing and in fame. But to me, the show is not the best of its kind. The voices aren't anything special, with exceptions of about two or three. I can't distinguish the voices apart in this season, there is no personality at all. We only see them up on stage singing for three minutes (they cut the song short) and they are off. And in those three minutes, most of the candidates are scared out of their minds. I think the program is far along enough for the candidates to get used to the stage and the audience. There are many candidates who don't even deserve to stand on the stage and sing.

The show kicked off tonight on a different tone; Super star graduate Rouwaidi Attieh performed one of her own songs, a new single entitled Hayati Milki -My Life is my own-.
Then there was a super funny report about the judges. It’s truly a must see! It’s so funny!
Both Wael and Majdala are extra-chic tonight!
The remaining 8 contestants were then welcomed to the stage.
After the break, Elie Bitar and Asma Al Jabiri performed.

Elie sang Ana La3alaiki Meshtaq by Joseph Saqr.
He got four green lights! Congrats! What a way to start the show!
As for Asma, she sang Inta La Meen by Elissa.
She also got four green lights! Congrats!
